Sunny Days.

Before the call

Draw it, or photograph it.

Two ways to say what the job is without trying to describe it down a phone. Both take about a minute, and neither one produces a price.

Draw it

How many square feet is that, actually?

Drop a driveway, a patio, a slab or a wall onto the plot and push them around until the shape is about right. The square footage that comes back is real arithmetic on what you drew, and it is the one number that makes the rest of the conversation specific.

Tap to add. Drag a zone to move it, drag its corner to resize. When the plot is zoomed in, drag the empty grid to pan around it. With a keyboard: Tab to a zone, arrows move it, shift + arrows resize, Delete removes. One grid square is 2ft.

What this is, and what it is not

The square footage is real arithmetic on the shapes you drew. There is no price attached and there deliberately is not one: a pour is priced on access, subgrade, thickness, how far the truck can get and what is already in the ground, and a rectangle on a grid knows none of that.

What it is good for is the one number almost nobody knows about their own property. Send it over and the call starts from a real area instead of from “the back bit by the door”.

Or photograph it

Send what is there now.

Three questions and a few photos from your phone, about ninety seconds. This is also the right route for anything that has cracked, dropped or started letting water in: those are not shapes you can draw on a plan.

Step one

Show us the space.

Straight off your phone is perfect. Two or three wide shots, and if something is cracked or dropped, one taken low along the surface rather than from standing height.

Photos of the area

Skip this if you would rather just talk, but it is the fastest way to get a useful answer.

Up to 8 photos, 12MB each. Photos stay on your device until someone from Sunny Days follows up.

What happens next

In their own words.

This is the only timing claim on the site, and it is theirs: “Once you request a quote, we will get back to you as soon as possible, usually within 24 hours, by phone or email.”

  1. 01They get back to youBy phone or email, usually within a day, in their own words above.
  2. 02A day and time to meetSet with you, so somebody can look at the actual ground.
  3. 03Information gathered on siteAccess, levels, subgrade and what is already buried decide most of a concrete job.
  4. 04A detailed quoteTheirs to give. Nothing on this site computes a price, deliberately.
